Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Request for Certified A.T. Sawyers

Sawyers who are certified to operate on the Appalachian Trail can request chaps, hard hats, safety glasses, and first aid kits from ATC for no charge thanks to the partnership between ATC and the National Park Service - Appalachian National Scenic Trail park office.

How to select chaps size (measurements are neither waist nor inseam):

Measure from your belt to 2 inches below the top of your boot. Size up if you're between sizes.

PPE Type

Select chap size - measured by total length, not waist or inseam. Measure from the top of your belt to 2" below the top of your boot for your chap size. In between sizes? Size up.
