AMSI Winter School 2021 - Application Form

The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) are hosting AMSI Winter School 2021 from 12 July to 23 July. This will be a virtual program with some face to face events. 

Applications for AMSI Winter School includes submission of this Application Form.

Please note: Applications will not be considered unless registration fees have been paid.
  • Acceptance of AMSI Winter School 2021 applications is at the discretion of the Event Director.
  • Applicants will be notified via email (to the address provided on this form) the outcome of their application to the School.
  • Attendees at the School will be asked to give a 15 minute 'Participant Talk' on your research interests and/or PhD thesis topic relevant to the theme of the school.
  • All attendees are expected to attend all program classes for the duration of the two week Winter School

Please provide the contact details of a referee who is able to comment on your research and/or experience. For PhD students, this should be your PhD Supervisor. 

AMSI Winter School organisers may need to make contact with them to process your application.









Attach a letter or email of support from your current supervisor, course coordinator and/or head of school/department to support your attendance at AMSI Winter School 2021.












AMSI Scholarships are available for students at AMSI Member Universities to assist with the cost of school fees. To find out more information about this scholarship and eligibility criteria, please visit https://ws.amsi.org.au
