Solidarity Fund 2.0 [CYCLE 3] : Relief Grants for Small Arts Organizations

SOLIDARITY FUND 2.0
The Solidarity Fund 2.0 provides one-time grants to individual artists, cultural workers, and small arts organizations in the US South experiencing financial emergency or hardship specifically related to COVID-19 pandemic.  You can read more about it here. 

CYCLE 3: ALABAMA, FLORIDA, MISSISSIPPI, NORTH CAROLINA  


CYCLE DATES: Tuesday, April 20th - Thursday, May 13th (12 pm ET)


NOTIFICATIONS: Tuesday, June 8th



To be eligible to apply for this cycle, ALL of the following must be true for you:


  • You are a small arts organization currently existing and operating within the ROOTS Service areas of ALABAMA, FLORIDA, MISSISSIPPI, or NORTH CAROLINA.

  • Your organization's total annual operating budget under $250,000

  • Your organization has experienced an unexpected financial emergency or hardship specifically related to the COVID-19 pandemic.


GRANT RECIPIENTS SHOULD EXPECT TO RECEIVE A PAYMENT WITHIN 30 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE AWARD NOTIFICATION.


Please do not submit more than one request per cycle.


ROOTS seeks to support increased participation of youth, TGNCNBI2-S (Transgender, Non-Conforming, Nonbinary, Intersex, and Two-Spirit), Indigenous and First Peoples, Latinx, and disability communities in the South. Preference will be given to submissions centered around and created by members of these communities.
