2024 National Volunteer Week: Community Radio Volunteer of the Year

Something for Everyone

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteers. From 20-26 May 2024, NVW will celebrate the significant contribution of Australia's volunteers. This year, the CBAA is focusing on the vibrant tapestry of individuals who bring their unique talents to the community broadcasting sector.

We're asking community radio stars to nominate their hero volunteers—the ones who personify this year’s theme of 'Something for Everyone'.

CBAA will select a winner and announce it following NVW, in the week of 27 May 2024. The winner will receive a scholarship package to the CBAA Conference 2024, where they can gain new insights, network with peers, and further empower their role within their station and the broader community.
