Production Class Placement Policy

Acceptance into all Musical Production Classes is by audition only. Our goal is to give every student the opportunity to excel, and therefore, it is important for each student to have the training, experience and maturity necessary to achieve success. We will evaluate each student and recommend the appropriate classes, productions and roles based on what will best suit each student’s needs and abilities.

All musical theatre production camps have completed auditions and casting. YOU MAY ONLY ENROLL IN A PRODUCTION CAMP (ALADDIN OR MATILDA) IF YOU AUDITIONED AND WERE CAST. No audition is required for other camps or for private lesson instruction.

This summer, private lessons will be done both virtually and in-person, depending on your teacher and your family's preference. Please check in with your instructor or the Academy director to confirm your option of in-person or virtual. The full semester for this summer includes eight 30-min lessons (or four 1-hr lessons). You will still have the option to add individual blocks of four 30-min lessons. Payment plans are available as always. The single block of lessons is only recommended for those who only need brief audition preparation or those who have several lessons leftover from Spring. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us via email at Rozz@LyricTheatreOKC.com, or via phone (405) 524-9310 ext.100.
