Thank you for your interest in the Nth Dimensions Medical Student Symposium (MSS).


AAOS and Nth Dimensions provide travel grants for students to attend the Student Symposium held at the 2027 AAOS Annual meeting Tuesday, March 2, 2027 to Thursday, March 4, 2027 in Las Vegas, NV.


Eligibility:

  • All applicants are students, in good standing from an accredited U.S. college, medical school or university. 
  • All individuals from groups underrepresented in medicine, U.S. citizens or U.S. non-citizen, nationals, or permanent residents of the U.S. are eligible to apply.

  • Second to Fourth-year medical students with an interest in Orthopaedic Surgery or Dermatology may apply for the MSS housing grant.

Please read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Please be sure you have all the required documents at the time of submission. Applications can only be submitted once, and progress cannot be saved.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of Covid Vaccine Card

Medical Student Symposium (MSS) Professional Development programs educate the student on the non-clinical aspects of medicine, such as CV building, interviewing skills, sub-internship performance and research, that he or she will need to master in order to be  comprehensively prepared and a competitive applicant in their field of choice. This is accomplished through on-going professional development sessions with Academic chairs, program directors and resident faculty, which take place at specialty meetings and conferences.


Nth Dimensions provides housing grants for students to attend the Student Symposium held at the annual meeting of the specialty’s academy. Academic chairs, program directors, faculty, summer internship preceptors and residents educate students in non-clinical and essential content areas necessary to become competitive residency applicants.


MSS award includes: 

  • Lodging - Preassigned hotel accommodation, double occupancy room. Room and tax only. 
  • AAOS Annual Meeting Registration
  • Membership to the J. Robert Gladden Society
  • Please note students will be responsible for providing their own travel accommodations.

Nth Dimensions Medical Student Symposium is in partnership with the AAOS and J. Robert Gladden Society.

AAD and Nth Dimensions provide travel grants for students to attend the Student Symposium held at the 2027 AAD Annual meeting, between Thursday, March 18, 2027 and Saturday, March 20, 2027 in San Francisco, CA.

Academic chairs, program directors, faculty, summer internship preceptors, and residents educate students in non-clinical and essential content areas necessary to become competitive residency applicants.

 

Eligibility:

  • All applicants are students, in good standing from an accredited U.S. college, medical school or university. 
  • All individuals from groups underrepresented in medicine, U.S. citizens or U.S. non-citizen, nationals, or permanent residents of the U.S. are eligible to apply
  • Second to Fourth-year medical students with an interest in Dermatology may apply for the MSS travel grant.


MSS Award Includes: 

  • Medical student registration at the 2027 AAD Annual academy meeting.

  • $500 Travel Grant to support the cost of travel and lodging at the annual conference. 

    • As a condition of this award, you understand and agree to arrange your own travel and hotel accommodations. 

    • If accepted you will receive an email from AAD registration to secure your hotel accommodations. 

    • All flights must be booked on your own.

  • Travel Grants will be distributed in person at the AAD meeting
