HOW IT WORKS:


Applications open on the 1st ( by 9:30AM at the latest) of every month for rental assistance. If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, the application will open on the following business day at the same time.

  1. Applicants MUST be experiencing literal homelessness (staying in a shelter, outdoors or vehicle) or doubled up (staying with family or friends) to qualify for this assistance. IF YOU ARE IN A CURRENT LEASE OR YOUR CURRENT LEASE IS ENDING, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.
  2. Must be moving into a new lease
  3. Must be approved for move-in & be able to show documentation of this with move-in date & move-in costs outlined
  4. Have children under the age of 18 with at least 50% custody, families with adult children with disabilities, people who are pregnant, and families with kids who have been removed from the home but have a reunification plan in place, have a child that is 18 but still in Highschool.
  5. Please be prepared to provide proof of income (some examples would be the 2 most recent paystubs, a letter from your employer, etc.). This ensures that the family can sustain rent for the duration of their Without proof of income, we are not able to assist.


PLEASE APPLY TO AS MANY OTHER RESOURCES AS POSSIBLE. WE CAN TYPICALLY HELP 2-3 FAMILIES A MONTH DUE TO LIMITED FUNDING.

Do not use special characters ( Ex: "! : ; - $ / |\ etc. ) for this field or your app. will not go through. If your income varies, write down a guess that's in between
If approved, all of the following documentation will be needed.:

  • A copy of your signed lease
  • A W-9 from the landlord or property manager
  • A copy of a photo ID for all adults
  • Proof that your household meets the definition of “family” above (i.e. birth certificates or social security cards for kids, school records, immunization records, etc.)
  • Official document verifying the amount owed (i.e. demand for rent, screenshot from rental portal or email, letter from landlord/property manager, etc.)
