Section 3: Workshop Detail

Learning Objectives should describe what participants will know (knowledge) and/or be able to do (skill) as a result of attending the training. The specific learning objectives must be measurable. Use words like: analyze, design, prepare, apply, develop, rate, explain, compile, compare, create, interpret, tell, discuss, assess, identify, list, use, demonstrate, utilize, describe, recite, give examples of, summarize. For example: “Participants will demonstrate a strength-based approach when communicating with parents about a child’s behavior.”

(e.g., video, vignette, role play, group discussion, breakout room dyads,  miro or padlet writing tools, parent panel)

(e.g., for a training on youth writing projects, list Oakland agencies supporting young writers and the resources that each provide. This may include current local, state, or federal policies.)

Please check all that you can provide.
Virtual Set Up:

Presenters will be expected to manage their virtual workshop rooms. OLC staff will be available in each room for trouble shooting or advanced technical needs. Please share any you anticipate now.
