Request Support from Cara's Rental Assistance

Based on need, Cara offers one-time financial assistance to participants employed in permanent or long-term job placements who are active in retention coaching for rent/mortgage or utilities. Documentation of emergency need is required to receive financial assistance. Applying for this assistance does not guarantee that you will receive it.

On page 2 of this form, documentation is required.

  • This could be a bill, a lease, a letter from your landlord, a photo of these documents, or any file that shows the emergency need (late notice/5-day notice, etc.). To save yourself time, gather your documentation before you start to fill out this form. If you have any questions on how to complete this form, please contact your Cara IDS/Coach.
  • Preferred Documents:
  • Late notice/emergency notice that has your name on it
  • Lease Summary Page - showing the name of the landlord and lessee; effective dates of the lease; and rental amount
  • Lease Signature Page – signed and dated by both the landlord and lessee

If you cannot provide one of the above, please respond to this email immediately.
