Join the Maccabi Educator Fellowship (MEF) and be a part of the 21st Maccabiah July 2022 in Israel! These specially trained educators will deepen the educational experience of Maccabi USA athletes, most notably during the Maccabiah in Israel next summer. Held every four years in Israel, The Maccabiah combines elite athletic competition with a celebration of Jewish heritage and culture.

In preparation for the 21st Maccabiah, an initial cohort of 40 educators will be selected to participate as members of the Maccabi USA delegation and implement our innovative curriculum during Maccabi USA’s six-day signature cultural-educational program, Israel Connect (IC). These educators will be central to ensuring Israel Connect creates a holistic Maccabiah experience that blends the athletes’ two key identities—athletic and Jewish—and helps them to connect deeply with Israel, her people, and the global Jewish community.
