Calling teens with a passion for making an IMPACT! Join us for a service learning opportunity for high school students.  Apply to virtually “adopt a grandparent,” in partnership with senior living communities! This is a unique opportunity for teens to engage with Holocaust Survivors who have been unable to have visitors and interact with others during the COVID-19 quarantine period 

Who: Current 11th & 12th Graders
What: Accepted applicants will be matched with a Holocaust Survivor from the Los Angeles are. The program consists of the following:
  • One virtual orientation training
  • One 30 minute Zoom Video-chat per week, with a resident at the Jewish Home for the Aging
  • Weekly reflection
  • Global Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) Seminar with International March of the Living
When: August 2 - 8, 2021. (M-Th (8/2) 5 3:30-5:00pm Virtually; Sun (8/8) in person program culmination)
Where: From the comfort of your own home!  All you need is access to Zoom :)

Participants will receive 10+ hours of community service for full program participation.
