Dream Big A TechBridge Grant

TechBridge is excited to announce our 2022 DreamBig™ Technology Grant (DBTG) opportunity. The DBTG celebrates and supports social justice focused nonprofits with more than five full time employees. TechBridge's DreamBig™ grant is honored to contribute by providing technology products and services to the awarded/winning organizations.

Applications will be open Dec. 1, 2021 - Feb. 25, 2022. The winners of the DBTG will be announced during the annual National Social Justice Summit on March 24th, 2022.

Start thinking about how data and technology can grow the impact of your social justice nonprofit. Our experienced TechBridge teams will evaluate your idea for estimate costs. Your organization will describe the idea and why it matters to your organization.

TechBridge will fund 80% of the project and your nonprofit will fund 20% through its other funders. For more details, please visit our DreamBig™ webpage.

The DreamBig™ for Social Justice Technology Grant combines your ideas with... organizational strategy, tech expertise, technology, and match funding. Each grant takes your idea for improvement and combines it with strategy and the right technology. It’s simple: Simply describe your situation, challenge, or problem --and how technology can be the solution. How can technology help you advance your social justice cause?

TechBridge is a link between technology and 501(c)(3) organizations. Our nonprofit technology specialists have helped thousands of nonprofits like yours --shelters, food pantries, after school programs, workforce development programs, justice programs, anti-human trafficking programs and many others. These grants operationalize nonprofits’ "wish lists" or their strategic plans through technology. Nonprofits re-imagine tech tools for donor management, client journey tracking, improved client in-take and on-boarding, operationalized strategic plans, and other innovative ideas to improve how their organization operates.

The DBTG will combine strategic technology with your idea to resolve your biggest tech headaches. If you dare to DreamBig™ for Social Justice, we can help make your dreams a reality.

Eligibility Description

Nonprofits may request a matching grant for up to $30,000 in TechBridge service towards the implementation of a specific technology solution that builds capacity, efficiency, or effectiveness for their organization. Each nonprofit selected will receive a 4x match from TechBridge (up to the award amount), meaning that for every $1,000 requested, the nonprofit would be required to contribute 20% and TechBridge 80%.

Built into the grant award will be a required Technology Assessment, provided by TechBridge (this will be waived if a nonprofit has received one within the last two years). Please note that the grant will also include a detailed discovery process by TechBridge to understand the organization and the proposed technology project. This discovery process may include, but is not limited to, a Technology Assessment, Solution Design, Process Definition and/or Functional Requirements.
