Raising the
Cultural Vibration in OST- Part 2
Do you know what
your purpose is in the out-of-school time space? Would you like to be more
comfortable trying new things and finding your vision for life? When we know
our purpose and values, we can create a culture in our afterschool programs of
high expectations and positive community, that will support youth to be their
best selves.
In this training
series participants will discuss the importance of understanding where
they come from in terms of culture and values. Participants will discover where
they are going in terms of direction and vision through guided exercises that
examine destiny and attitude. Participants will engage in activities to
practice techniques that build a positive environment for youth by
modeling how to follow their purpose and values.
