High School Advisor Advantage Agreement

Congratulations on being chosen to participate in the Advisor Advantage program.  We know that leading a successful student program takes a lot of work and time outside of your normal classroom duties. The purpose of this program rewards those        advisors/coaches who excel in leading their student programs and meet certain criteria each semester.  (One stipend per school*, please call 770-455-9622 should you need additional clarifications.) *Those schools bringing groups that well exceed the criteria listed below may be eligible for more than one stipend, if more than one teacher is active in the process of recruitment and advising.  These exceptions may be made upon the request and approval of GCCE HQ Staff.

 

Semester 1 Criteria

-Be fully affiliated/chartered by October 15 (including affiliation/charter payment received by HQ)


-Bring at least 16 students to Youth Assembly (senior event)


*All invoices must be paid in full prior to close of the event.  The 16 students applies to one specific event, not divided between the events.


Each item must be satisfied to receive the semester 1 stipend of $500, which is payable on December 17th.

Semester 2 Criteria
-Bring at least 16 students to Georgia United Nations Assembly (senior event)           
                                                           
*All invoices must be paid in full prior to close of the conference.  The 16 students applies to one specific event, not divided between the conferences.

-Bring at least 4 students to ENGAGE summer conference (an advisor/chaperone must attend with students)

                

*Must be registered and paid in fully by May 4th (only exclusions are for schools with top YA, JYA, & GUNA Officials)


Each item must be satisfied to receive the semester 2 stipend of $500, which is payable on June 3rd.

Bonus Criteria

Help secure a new student educational trip (DC, Tour of Georgia, New York, Boston, Philly, etc.)--$500 per trip.
                

*Must have a minimum of 40 paying attendees on each trip at appropriate qualifying levels.








I understand that participation in this program is voluntary and that conditions must be met before any payment or reward will be received.  Failure to meet the qualifications as stated above will forfeit any stipend payment.


*This form must be submitted, along with mailing your affiliations/charter check (postmarked October 1st).  You will receive a notification when your form is received .  If you do not receive a notification, it was not successfully received by October 1st deadline, and you are not in line to qualify for the listed  stipends above.  Not eligible for grant recipient schools.  Exceptions regarding stipends may be made by the Director of State Programs.  Thanks!
