3rd Annual Performance Program  

ELEVATE  


Seattle Theatre Group is bringing community members, historians, spoken word artists and dancers together to lift their voices creatively. ELEVATE will culminate with a night of performance + community conversation to kick off Juneteenth.  


STG is seeking middle & high school students to participate in ELEVATE.   


We are seeking spoken word and dancers.  

 

GRADES: Middle School & High School  

  • Students will work with mentors 
  • Perform at Moore Theatre * following CDC recommendations  
  • All student participants receive a stipend   

Requirements:  

  • Attend all scheduled rehearsals created by mentor   
  • Create a collaborative spoken word piece   
  • Block off June 12-15, 2023, for ON SITE rehearsals at Moore Theatre

Parent/Guardians

Please note that you will be expected to commit approximately an hour a week to the project virtually. This could take place in the evening during the week or some time on the weekends. I acknowledge that we will be present for all rehearsal and will block off June 12-15, 2023. 
(Please keep in mind if you have a graduating senior, this is around graduation time)
