Conversation Project Host Application

Thanks for your interest in hosting a Conversation Project program. Not all requests may be approved. You will receive notice of approval or refusal via email from an Oregon Humanities staff person with information about our decision within two weeks of receiving your application. 


Please check our Conversation Project Catalog to confirm that the conversation you want to host is available in the way you want to host it (for example, some facilitators only offer in-person conversations).

***Each organization may apply for up to 3 conversations per quarter.  To choose additional conversations, click the link under this box.***


We don't want cost to be a barrier and fundraise to make that possible. Please consider the full cost to host is roughly $600. If your organization is unable to pay any amount, that is okay. Any amount your organization is able to pay above the full cost, allows us to make this program available to other organizations at lower to no cost.

Your organization will be responsible for set-up, outreach, and production of these virtual conversations on Zoom Meeting or a similar platform that allows small group breakout rooms. Additionally, someone from your organization will need to support the Conversation Project leader with technical needs like breakout rooms and screen sharing. Please choose one of the following:
