Volunteer Skill and Availability Survey
Hack the Hood is looking for volunteers to support Fall 2021 learners as teaching assistants and/or career exposure panelists!
As a teaching assistant, you’ll help
-Facilitate office hour questions -Troubleshoot with learners (ie how to set up Github) -Reviewing Python tutorials and command line
Any experience working with youth or new learners is ideal! At minimum,
teaching assistants should be
-Familiar with Python -Operating a command line and terminal -
Able to commit two hours for 4 or 8 weeks between Oct 4th - Dec 2nd
We are also
looking for folks who are interested in participating in career exposure panels
to share their stories with learners about their career paths and various roles in tech.
Nontraditional backgrounds and POC folks preferred! No technical experience necessary
