Thank You for your interest in volunteering with Teen Feed
"Teen Feed works with the community to offer support to meet basic needs, build strong relationships, and ally with houseless youth as they meet their future off the streets."
Kitchen Support Volunteers are responsible for assisting the Kitchen Lead and Meal Teams with preparing and packaging delicious and nutritious hot meals to the youth we serve nightly. Kitchen Support Volunteers are recommended to be 15+ years of age. If under 15 years of age, please connect with the Volunteer Services Manager to discuss. All volunteers under 18 years of age must have an 18+ chaperone with them at all shifts. Through service at Teen Feed, we hope to reinforce values of equity, fairness, and justice to create a compassionate and inclusive community, challenge stereotypes, and raise awareness about youth homelessness. Teen Feed’s guests represent diversity in experience, background, age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc., and Teen Feed aims to create a volunteer corps reflective of the diversity of our youth - those who represent diverse identities and/or have lived experience with houselessness/housing or food insecurity are highly encouraged to apply." Please complete the entire application in order to move forward with your volunteer application process.

BACKGROUND CHECK RELEASE
(applicants under 18 years old do not need to complete the background section)
Teen Feed runs a background check through the Washington State Patrol Website on all incoming volunteers and staff. This information is used to determine your role and ability to have direct service with the youth we serve. Please provide your legal information in the space below so we may run a proper background check. Having something on your background does not automatically deny you from volunteering.  This information will not be used anywhere except the background check website.
