Join SVP Seattle in the three-part Equity Matters series where SVP Partners engage together in conversations about how racial inequities show up in our communities.
When we previewed our Fall Programs, Emiko reflected on the past 12 months and the importance of opportunities for Partners to reconnect and learn together. Equity Matters is a great place to take that next step!
Over three sessions you will explore the importance of centering racial equity, specifically within philanthropy; how racial inequities show up in our communities, policies, and institutions, and and what we can do as individuals and as a Partnership to bring racial justice to our actions and our philanthropic practices.
This fall, Equity Matter facilitator Evette Jasper will lead between 12-15 participants over three, three-hour session. The series includes pre-readings, individual, small, and full group exercises, discussions, and stories to illustrate how racial inequities show up in our actions and systems. Together, the cohort will identify what we can do as individuals and as an organization to work toward creating racial equity through our actions and philanthropic practices
All sessions are virtual. Space is limited so sign-up now! We will give priority to applicants who can participate in all the meetings as well as those who have not already attended an Equity Matters.
The series will be facilitated by Evette Jasper of Equity Matters.
(For active SVP Seattle Partners who have not participated in Equity Matters before)
