Public schools are exempt from the $150,000 budget criteria. However, we do not fund existing school curricula (e.g., materials for an art class), long-standing programs (e.g., annual school play), and programs of staffed non-profits based in the school. We prioritize Title 1 schools.

If your school has a green team, we also encourage you to check out our Public School Green Team Mini-Grants. In partnership with Department of Sanitation, we award up to $2,000 of cash and/or material support for green team projects.

You are eligible for our grant! Please complete the following application questions and we look forward to learning more about your project. Please remember that you can save your progress by hitting the "save and resume" button.
