The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) Member Congress, January 10 - 11, 2020, will bring NYIC Member and partner organizations together from across New York State to build a statewide collaborative advocacy strategy, lobby representatives, and engage in professional development/networking in support of immigrant and refugee communities.

Lobbying | Participants will engage in training around lobbying and then will engage in lobbying visits with their representatives in support of immigrant and refugee communities. |
This event will be two days long. Participants can come for one or both days. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. NYIC is able to supply an event rate for attendees the night of January 10, 2022 at $114. Otherwise, attendees are responsible for booking their own lodging at the Hilton Albany if they choose to stay overnight. If you would like to book from NYIC's room block, please use this link. The price of individual attendance is:
$25 for staff of NYIC Member organizations
$50 for staff of non-Member organizations
Limited financial support is available to Member organizations who have financial constraints that would challenge them in attending the Member Congress. Member organizations with budgets under $250k can apply for a scholarship that would cover the cost of a hotel room for the night of January 10, not including additional charges.
