4. COMPETENCY DESCRIPTION & SUPPORT ARTEFACTS

• A description is required of work done illustrating the applicant’s competence in each of the areas indicated. Reference may be made to the detailed GCS specification for clarification of the required performance.

• The requirement is NOT to provide demonstration of the full width of experience, but a minimum of one example with sufficient depth to illustrate application of the knowledge and skills meeting the requirement. Where the applicant is a consultant to the asset intensive business, the illustration of experience needs to indicate those activities performed in conjunction with, or on behalf of the client (as opposed to the consulting role) where stakeholders refer to the stakeholders of the Asset Intensive business (both internal and external).

• Artefacts should be uploaded to support the description provided for each item. These may be in the form of an AM document as specified but may also be addressing the same content in an alternative form in line with the prevailing organisational management systems – in which case the submitted narrative should flag and motivate.

• Where support artefacts are not able to be submitted, indicate reasons.

• In instances where support artefacts may not be disclosed, the circumstances should be specifically noted so that alternative arrangements can be contemplated. Measures may include requiring an interview.  A copy of front page of the document can be submitted with sensitive information masked out, so that the existence and scope is clear.

• Maximum of 200 words per item.

5. REFEREE

A registered professional (in any recognised field) must corroborate the nature of the experience indicated and the specific participation and role of the applicant in the preparation of the artefacts.
