Calling all caregivers in the National Capital Region (NCR)!

We want to help you forge personal connections that will empower you along your caregiving journey by inviting you to sign up to participate in our Caregivers Empowering Caregivers (CEC) Cohort Program in your area!

This cohort of caregivers will meet four times during the year to focus on the importance of self-care, resource sharing, and peer support. Each gathering will be at no cost to you thanks to the support of Veterans United Foundation and the Walter Reed Society.

Sign up today as space is limited!

Please note that the NCR CEC Cohort Program is a year-long commitment. There will be four in-person events over the course of 2022. To qualify for this group, you must commit to all events. We anticipate great interest in the program and want to ensure that each caregiver is 100% dedicated to participating.

We at Blue Star Families strive  to empower military families to thrive by connecting them with their civilian neighbors — both people and organizations — to create strong communities of support. As part of our core mission, Blue Star Families seeks to ensure military families experience a sense of belonging and welcome in the communities in which they live.  As a result, we are once again beginning to host in-person events and want to do so in a safe way that gives our members, staff, consultants, and volunteers confidence.
