Interested in a fun, creative and engaging internship with ACA this summer? Specially designed for 15-16 year olds who are interested in being counselors, the ACA camp counselor internship allows interns to spend three weeks at ACA summer camp doing things like


-        Working with elementary aged campers every day

-        Gaining teamwork and communication skills in a professional setting

-        Learning in a classroom setting with peers


Hours are approximately 8:45 AM - 4:00 PM  Monday – Friday, with breaks. Interns must be able to commit to all three weeks of their session. 


Upon successful completion of the internship, a $300 stipend will be awarded. Alternatively, interns can opt for the internship to count for 100 hours of community service. Interns are only able to complete one session per summer.

 

Session 1: June 29 - July 17 (no camp July 3)

Session 2: July 20 - August 7

Session 3: August 10 - August 28*


Location: St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 929 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, MA 02476


*Session 3 is split between St. Paul's and ACA, 20 Academy St, Arlington MA 02476



Priority application period: February 16 - March 30. Applications received after this date may not be considered.


Interviews for selected candidates will be scheduled March 30 - April 10 


As needed, applications submitted after March 30 may be reviewed to fill open slots. 








** Please note: Interns must be 15 years old by the start of the session to which they're applying due to camp licensing requirements
