Proof of Vaccination

We look forward to gathering as a community, in a COVID-safe manner, to honor Mark Berns and Miriam Prum Hess and celebrate BJE’s partnership with Jewish schools and amongst lay and professional leaders.

The health and well-being of our guests is BJE’s highest priority; therefore, BJE’s Gala will be compliant with CDC, local, state, and national guidelines.

We are asking all BJE Gala guests and staff to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid 19 prior to the date of the event. 
We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation in advance of the gala. Please note:  All guests who have not already done must submit proof of vaccination to by March 18, 2022.

·     If you are bringing a guest(s), please share this email with them. BJE will require that they email or show their vaccination proof in advance or at the door.

“Fully vaccinated” is: two weeks after your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines; or two weeks after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine *

Images of vaccination cards will not be stored by BJE once we have recorded a guest’s vaccination status.

Guests who do not submit proof of vaccination prior to the event must bring their vaccination cards (hard copy, digital copy or photo) with them to the event. No guest will be admitted to the event without proof of vaccination on file.

Weather permitting, all food service for the BJE Gala on March 20, 2022 will occur outdoors:

The party from 5:30-7:00 pm will be fully outdoors.

The 7:00 pm program will be held in the Katz Pavilion with the back wall fully open to the outdoors. Seating will be auditorium style and socially distanced. Masks will be available and required during the program which will last approximately 1 hour
