Coalitions and Councils Application Form

The Coalition to Advance Nonprofits (CAN) is a coalition of over 100 nonprofits, which coordinates federal, state, and city advocacy on issues impacting the nonprofit sector. CAN's work is grounded in the Declaration of Nonprofit Rights. CAN's membership includes nonprofit professionals and nonprofit stakeholders. CAN meets monthly.

Nonprofit New York’s Government Relations Council (GRC) is a council of nonprofit law experts who, where appropriate, comment on legislative and regulatory developments affecting New York's nonprofit sector. The GRC's membership includes nonprofit general counsel and law firm partners specializing in nonprofit law. The GRC meets monthly.

Government Relations Council
Nonprofit New York cannot compensate GRC members for their time. If you understand this, please continue to fill out this form.

Government Relation Council (GRC) members must have proficiency in nonprofit law. This work heavily covers nonprofit laws and regulations, in which members must be proficient.
