The Nonprofit Technology Framework: Tools and Skills for Thriving in the “New Normal”

At Nonprofit New York, we believe that a culture of learning is a culture of growth. We offer Learning Labs to encourage nonprofit leaders to continue learning, growing, and strengthening their nonprofits, which strengthen our communities.

Learning Labs are deep dives into Nonprofit New York's Key Areas of Nonprofit Excellence, our frame for successful nonprofit management. Learning Labs give participants the opportunity to hear from experts in the field, while practicing problem-solving and experiential learning, so you can get both the tools you need and the situational understanding of how to use them.

Series Overview: Do you need a clear plan for technology growth to meet the demands and opportunities in today’s “new normal”? Join us to learn the skills, processes (and a few great tools!) so that you can transform your organization through excellence in technology!

May 18th, 1:00-2:30pm, Session 1: I Can See Clearly Now: Assessing Technology Needs and Alignment with Mission
May 25th, 1:00-2:30pm, Session 2: Excellent! Excellence in Technology Governance and Infrastructure
June 1st, 1:00-2:30pm, Session 3: The Magic of Data: Data Culture and Making Data-Informed Decisions
June 8th, 1:00-2:30pm Session 4: Cybersecurity and the “Reasonable” Imperative
June 15th, 1:00-2:30pm, Session 5: Herding Cats - Project and Change Management
June 22nd, 1:00-2:30pm, Session 6: Changing the Wheels while Driving the Car: Agility and Excellence in Technology as a Way of Being

*Note: If you are unable to attend all sessions, you are still invited to join for those that you can. Recordings of all sessions will be sent to registered participants.*

This application serves to help us assemble a cohort and also as a baseline assessment for individual participants.

Our Learning Labs are:

$175 for Nonprofit New York members
$225 for nonmembers
