<p>Founder of the Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA), Ayman Nassar brings over 30 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, project and program management, organizational and individual transformation, and youth development. He has successfully managed more than $250 million in programs across the public and private sectors.</p><p>Over the past two decades, Ayman has coached, taught, and counseled hundreds of youth and young professionals. He is a certified mentor and coach, having served with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lutheran Social Services, Dar Al-Taqwa, Prince George’s Community College’s ALANA program (Asian, Latino, African, Native American), New Beginnings Youth Center, Howard County Detention Center, and ILIA.</p><p>Ayman is an active member of both the Howard County Reentry Council and the Howard County Ethnic Diversity Round Table. He holds two master’s degrees, in electrical engineering and engineering management and systems engineering, and certifications in over half a dozen leadership and professional development areas.</p><p>He has received training in cultural competence, youth development, reentry services, psychology, and curriculum design, and has created more than 200 educational programs for youth and adults. He also founded the Youth Crisis Line, providing stabilization services to hundreds of young adults.</p><p>Ayman has served as a faculty member at the University of California, Prince George’s Community College, Strayer University, and Howard Community College.</p>

<p>A <strong>6-week </strong>intensive career development and coaching internship experience for young adults<strong> ages 14 - 19</strong> who live in Baltimore .</p><p><strong>EmpoweReer </strong>is back this year!. This year we are accepting 44 youth, for a six-week career empowerment and leadership development. Young adults ages 14-19 will have an opportunity to learn project management skills, leadership styles and traits, public speaking, build a professional linkedin presence, visit global employers in <strong>Baltimore</strong> and enjoy a couple of inspiring outdoor retreats. A great opportunity for those inspired to align personal development and career growth with real-life hands-on projects.
