Program Eligibility

Underemployed means that you make under $50k/year, and/or your current role does not require a bachelor's degree. In this case, "full-time, professional work experience" does not include temporary, contract, or fixed-term roles, nor roles that did not offer healthcare benefits. COOP is a program for those seeking to launch their careers for the first time. If you're unsure if you meet this requirement, please reach out to your region's recruiting coordinator.

Answer YES if you are a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, a DACA recipient, etc.. Note: Unfortunately, we currently do not have the appropriate resources to support those seeking employer sponsorship for work authorization status.

If your parents (or parent, if you grew up in a single parent household) do not hold a bachelor's degree from a United States institution, you are considered a first generation college graduate.

State financial aid could include: TAP (NY), Cal Grant (CA), MAP Grant (IL), FSAG (FL)

In order to further COOP's mission of overcoming underemployment, we may from time to time share non-anonymized, non-aggregated data with third parties. By submitting this form, you consent to data sharing. More information about our data privacy policy can be found here.

COOP does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or genetics in the administration of its admissions policies and/or offering of its educational programming.
