Scheduling your HCG event

This is the information the registrar needs to enter your event into Salesforce, Zoom, and Google Calendar, so people can register for it and add it to their calendars.

Up to 60 characters. No periods - use dashes. This is identifies the event in Salesforce. For example "TEAM Grief Circle," or "Coming Together"

Specify your event's recurrence and (if new) the date of the first meeting. This text appears on the website, in confirmations, and in reminders.

For example, "Second and fourth Thursday" or "Every Tuesday beginning April 19"

Session dates

You can specify up to 12 dates at a time. These dates trigger reminders that get sent to participants via email. If one of your circles falls on a holiday, and you don't want to meet that day, just skip that date, and no reminder will be sent.

Public / Private Event

Public events appear on the HCG and Commonweal websites, enabling anyone to register. Private events are for HCG volunteers and for the alumni of past events, such as grief circles.
