Eye Health and
sight loss are often overlooked but we at London Vision are here to support you
and your family.
London Vision supports
blind and partially sighted people who live, work or study in the capital, offering
a variety of services. You can find out more about these by visiting www.londonvision.org.
We know that
those at risk of developing sight loss don’t always receive the information
they need to both access advice, or manage their condition to prevent sight
loss occurring. This issue can be more pronounced within different ethnic communities.
For example, people from black, asian and minority ethnic communities are more
likely to develop diabetes. This in turn increases their chances of having
Diabetic Retinopathy, an eye condition causing blindness.
London Vision wants
to understand the situation in your local area better so that the team can work
to help improve the provision of information in your community and share
knowledge about services and support.
We need your
help to do this. Please fill in our short survey, it will only take a few
minutes.
You can also
contact London Vision to help you, should you need any assistance. Call 020
3761 3651 or send an email to info@londonvision.org.
We really
appreciate your help in supporting us to make a difference in your local
area.
