Dear Founders,
As you undertake your entrepreneurial journey it is vital that you are able to quickly and accurately describe the exact stage of development, or readiness, of your idea or venture.
At Imperial Enterprise Lab, we use the KTH Innovation Readiness framework to help teams achieve this. The KTH scoring methodology looks at six key areas of innovation readiness – Customer, Team, Business, IPR, Funding, and Technology – and provides a detailed scale, with clear definitions of criteria, milestones, and activities for each level.
Using this approach will not only help you to gain a clear sighted view of where you are right now it will also help you focus on what you need to focus on next to effectively level-up your commercial development. It will also enable the Enterprise Lab team/your IVMS Mentors to tailor the support we provide based on a more exact view of your current stage of development.

Review the KTH scales presented in this survey and take some time to reflect on where you and your venture currently sit. There are six Innovation Readiness Level parameters (Customer, Team, Business, IPR, Funding and Technology) and we have put all the information you need to answer on each page - meaning you won't need to flip back and forth.
Please record your answers over the next few pages selecting the relevant levels for your venture, and providing your evidence in the text boxes
If you have any problems or questions, please email ivms@imperial.ac.uk.
