Young Professionals Bursary

The Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) has partnered with CERIC to create the Young Professionals Bursary to support emerging employment and career development practitioners in attending the virtual portion of the Cannexus23 conference.

This bursary ensures the diverse voices of the new and up-and-coming generation of employment and career practitioners are being represented and that young professionals can benefit from the extensive professional development and networking taking place at the virtual conference.

For 2023, there will be 12 bursaries awarded. Bursaries will be for a single full registration to attend the virtual conference.

To be eligible for this bursary, you must be:

  • 30 years of age or younger;
  • Primarily engaged in career development or employment work;
  • A resident of Canada.

Preference will be given to individuals from equity-seeking groups. The selection committee will also take into account regional representation when awarding bursaries. Of the 12 bursaries, two bursaries will be awarded to applicants from Nova Scotia.

The application deadline is September 30, 2022.
