Program Eligibility

Thank you for your interest in the Access Services Associate program built in partnership with Penn Medicine! This program focuses on connecting participants to sustainable long-term strategies for gaining employment, retaining employment, and advancing at work. Graduates of this program can earn the opportunity to interview for Access Services Associate openings with Penn Medicine. We are looking for compassionate, patient-focused and computer-proficient individuals with experience in customer service. Call center experience is a plus.

Because this part of the application process can take 45-minutes or more to complete well, first answer the questions below to determine if you meet the requirements to fill out this application.

Program Description

What is the WPSI Access Services Associate Program?

The West Philadelphia Skills Initiative (WPSI) designed the Access Services Associate Program to connect participants to the technical training, tools, and supports needed to build a career that is meaningful to you.

Graduates of this program can earn the opportunity to interview for Access Services Associate openings with Penn Medicine.

This program is virtual and conducted on Zoom, so consistent access to a laptop or desktop with broadband internet and a working webcam is essential.

All applications must be submitted by 5PM, on Friday, August 19th, 2022.

Why does the WPSI Access Services Associate program align with your career goals and interests?

Daily program attendance is required for successful completion of the program.

WPSI Virtual Sessions

Facilitated group conversations Mon-Fri, 9/6-9/27 9a-12p.
Additional one on one and small group virtual meetings several times a week, between 1-3pm.
Approximately 2 hours of daily reading and reflection exercises
