AEDP will offer variable grants based on a
competitive application process that weighs applicants’ demonstrated needs and
strengths of the application. Individual grants will not exceed $100,000. The program will require
grantees to provide a 1:5 cash match ($1 match for every $5 received). However,
no match will be required on the first $50,000 of the grant or if the total
grant request is less than $50,000. Grant funds must be used for:
1. Developing or enhancing a strategic plan with
a focus on organizational capacity building and long-term sustainability
2. Creating demand-driven sustainable programming
to promote economic recovery and activity
