Welcome to the application for the ALX B2B Business Association Grant Program, an initiative of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) in partnership with the City of Alexandria Economic Recovery Team.

Applicants must be incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia or have filed incorporation papers with the Commonwealth at the time of application. Please review the full eligibility criteria before applying.

AEDP will offer variable grants based on a competitive application process that weighs applicants’ demonstrated needs and strengths of the application. Individual grants will not exceed $100,000. The program will require grantees to provide a 1:5 cash match ($1 match for every $5 received). However, no match will be required on the first $50,000 of the grant or if the total grant request is less than $50,000. Grant funds must be used for:

1.       Developing or enhancing a strategic plan with a focus on organizational capacity building and long-term sustainability

2.      Creating demand-driven sustainable programming to promote economic recovery and activity

Applications must be submitted by 9:00 AM EDT on Monday, August 29, 2022.
