 Equality and diversity:

Kinship is an equal opportunities organisation and will treat all volunteers, kinship carers who access our services and employees with respect and dignity irrespective of gender, sex, race, colour, ethnic origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief, marital status and social class.

The following questions play no part in the volunteer recruitment process. By completing this form, you help us understand who uses our service and to ensure we reflect the makeup and meet the needs of local kinship carer communities.

It will also help us report back to funders and to help us get funding to deliver more services for kinship carers. No personal identifying details are shared.

The Equality Act 2010 defines a disability as a "physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person's ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities". An effect is long-term if it has lasted, or is likely to last, more than 12 months.
