AFS Works-in-Progress is a program with a mission to provide filmmakers with invaluable feedback on rough and fine cuts of their films. Each screening is followed by audience discussion and feedback (written and verbal) and moderated by experienced Austin filmmakers. Audience members are expected to agree to confidentiality regarding the film and the feedback process.
Rough cuts should have a run time between 40 and 120 minutes. Filmmakers should send their applications as early in the editing process as possible, as it can take 4-6 weeks for the review process and scheduling process to yield a screening date.
Submissions are selected for screening by our Filmmaker Advisory Committee. Please email us at filmmakersupport@austinfilm.org with any questions.
