State your preferences for the family or families you would like to adopt and which method of gift giving you would like to participate in. We'll make every effort to pair you with a family or families whose needs are in-line with your responses. Please note that such a pairing is not always possible.

Compass family sizes range from 2 people (one adult and one child) to as many as 12 people. In the fields below, you can specify the size of the family or families and the number of individuals you would prefer to adopt. Every effort will be made to pair you with the number of families and individuals you have requested.

We are offering two options for how you can participate this year.
Which option seems right for you?

Traditional Adopt-a-Family - Fulfill a family wish list of needed and wanted items, shop, wrap, and drop off gifts to Compass to be distributed to your adopted family or familiesGift Card Adopt-a-Family - Fulfill wish list requests for gift cards from specific retailers for your adopted family or familiesEither is fine.

If you are participating in the Traditional Adopt-a-Family option, gift drop offs will occur in San Francisco from December 8th to 14th. More information to schedule a time to drop off gifts will be emailed to you.

Some of the families we serve have significant needs that may be reflected on their wish list. For example, a family that is about to move into a new apartment may need furnishings and other household items. Would you welcome being paired with a family that you could support with gifts beyond typical holiday requests?
