Youth Corps Member Application

Thank you for applying to Rocky Mountain Youth Corps! This application is designed for you—the applicant—to complete. Since this is a paid position, it’s important that we hear from you directly about your interests, experiences, and goals. This will help us get to know you and see if this position is a good fit.

Parents/guardians are welcome to review and support you, but please make sure you are the one filling out each section. Thank you, and we look forward to reading your application!

You will live and work with your crew 24/7 for the entire session. The first three weeks include completing service projects for 8 hours each day Monday–Thursday. Weekends are for showers, resupply, and recreation. The fourth week is an unpaid backpacking trip to celebrate the team’s work.

Crew members work rain or shine in many different locations and terrains across Colorado and spend the entire time camping outdoors. Crew members will be working and living in a crew of diverse people. Access to modern appliances (showers, laundry, refrigeration, cell phones, internet) are limited. What do you foresee being the biggest challenge on crew for you?
