Service Description

Install one Cobra cable to add support to an up righted Leyland cypress and secured to a neighboring pine.

Cobra cables are made of high-strength, braided polypropylene rope and are attached to limbs by wrapping around the branches instead of drilling components through the tree. The cable systems come with shock absorbing, expansion, and abrasion protection components. The Cobra system has been recommended for your tree because it offers specific advantages over steel cable systems.

Cabling will lessen the risk of stem breakage as a result of weak unions, but it does not lessen the risk of uprooting failure.

NOTE: Cables are neither a permanent remedy to structural weaknesses, nor a guarantee against failure. Cables should be inspected periodically by a Certified Arborist and adjusted or repaired if necessary.

Tree support systems installed and maintained according to ANSI A300 (part 3) 33.6.2.1 standards for Cabling, Bracing and Guying.
