The application is now open for MBA students and doctoral level applicants for the 2023-2024 cohort. Cornell’s BioEntrepreneurship initiative offers Johnson MBA students and doctoral life scientists from across Cornell’s campuses the opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world startup creation. Participants receive the tools, training, and connections they need to launch their own life science startups through a certificate program offered by the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Who can apply?Up to 30 participants are selected per annual cohort, of which half are MBA students and half are researchers/innovators/clinicians in the life-sciences. MBA students should apply during their first year to participate in the program during the second year of their MBA.
Researchers/innovators/clinicians should be doctoral (PhD, MD, DVM) candidates, post-docs, or junior faculty from across Cornell’s colleges such as Weill Cornell Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Arts & Sciences, College of Engineering, and College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, as well as Cornell’s Tri-Institutional partners. Competitive PhD candidates will have completed their qualifying examinations.
TimelineThe priority application deadline has past, though we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis.
