to reduce violence in the healthcare setting.
Objectives:- Identify the sources
of violence in healthcare settings including patients, visitors and co-workers.
- Describe the decreased resources that exacerbate
the risk of violence from these sources.
- Select activities nurses can engage in to win
additional identified resources in healthcare facilities.
- Formulate an action plan to advocate for safer
conditions in the healthcare workplace.
