Personal Insights

Galvanize Foundation scholarships are intended to make the immersive training programs more financially accessible to individuals from underrepresented populations in the tech industry. The following questions help us determine which applicants have the greatest need for scholarship assistance, are most likely to be successful in Galvanize programs, and align most closely with our values. You may use up to 200 words per section.

The Scholarship Advisory Council will also consider two responses from your program application:

  1. What is your motivating factor for learning Software Engineering?

  2. You are applying to a bootcamp where you will work incredibly hard on an individual level and collaborate with your classmates in ways that mirror professional environments. This type of learning experience is unique because of the intensity of the schedule and the time commitment required. Communication, personal accountability and problem-solving skills are critical for success. Please tell us how you will excel in this environment.
