Application Details
In a Personal Statement, please explain the following (Do not exceed 3 pages): 
    1. Please share more about your journey that has led you to where you are today in your position.
    2. Where do you want to see yourself in higher education in the next 5-10 years?
    3. What challenges are you currently facing in your leadership and career journey?
    4. What do you hope to gain in participating in the LEAP Advance Program?
In a Personal Statement, please explain why are you interested in the LEAP Engage Program? Please include:
  • A summary of you and your career journey
  • What you hope to gain from the experience
  • The impact your want to have on your organization after the program
In a single document, please answer the following questions(All short answer responses are 500 words maximum).
  • Why are you interested in LEAP Impact at this time in your career?
  • Describe your role at your organization, including responsibilities that may not be captured by your job title/position.
  • Could you tell us about your career path? How did you end up doing the work that you currently do? Why did you decide to work in the nonprofit sector?
  • What leadership position do you envision having in the future? What do you believe you need to be ready for it?
  • Is there anything else you would like our selection committee to consider regarding your application?
LEAP Emerge works to place interns with API serving organizations, please upload a Personal Statement (ex: Word document) addressing the following questions: 

  • Why is serving the API community is important to you. (500 word max)
  • What does leadership mean to you? (500 word max)
  • What skills are you hoping to learn? (250 words max) 
  • Is there anything else you would like our selection committee to consider regarding your application? (250 words max)
