Pierce County Human Services Scholarship

The purpose of this funding is to help increase child care in Pierce County and to support current child care providers or child care volunteers interested in obtaining degrees or certificates in early learning.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, applicants must live, work, or volunteer in Pierce County, with the intent of attending a program to complete a degree or certificate in early childhood education or business administration.

Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Notifications are sent via email the first week of the month following your submission. For example, if you submit an application on July 14, you will be notified the first week of August.

Funding for this scholarship is only available through Fall of 2023. Child Care Aware of WA strongly encourages applicants to apply for financial aid. Tuition awarded through this scholarship may not cover the total cost of tuition at your chosen institution.
