This form is for booking ZooSnooz, our overnight program for schools at Taronga Zoo Sydney.

Please use this form to submit a booking request for your school.

You will need the following information ready before you start:

After submitting this request, you will receive an email confirming the date and the accommodation type. Once you confirm this an invoice is sent out.

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 is required to secure your booking, paid within two weeks of invoicing. The remaining balance will be required two weeks before your visit.

Educational workshop ($7.00 per student)

Meet some of our amazing animals up close in a lesson with topics tied to syllabus outcomes that are led by a qualified member of our teaching staff. Educational workshops start at 10.30am, 11.30am or 12.30pm and go for 45 minutes. If you choose to add a workshop, our Education Admin team will be in touch to confirm your workshop time.

NOTE: ZooSnooz overnight stays include a visit to an immersive Habitat Classroom as part of the program. Please only select to add an educational workshop if you would like it added additionally to your experience.

Booking terms & conditions

Exact numbers are required two weeks before the event. Invoices will not be changed after this time
Students must be actively supervised by teachers/parents at all times
At least one supervising teacher must have a current First Aid Certificate
ZooSnooz is a non-smoking, drug and alcohol-free program
Taronga reserves the right to change your sleeping venue at any time. Notice will be given as soon as practicable, but may be at any point up until your arrival at the zoo
Package selection cannot be changed after confirmation. Please contact education immediately if your expected numbers change
Students cannot ride on Sky Safari when operational unless this has been included in my booking and students are supervised in groups of 5 students with 1 teacher/supervising adult
Teachers/supervising adults attending have a duty of care to supervise students at all times while on zoo grounds and to take direction from Taronga staff to comply with Taronga’s COVID-19 Safety Plan
Attending teachers/supervising adults and students will be advised not attend to Taronga Zoo if they feel unwell or have flu like symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath) and will be excluded from Taronga Zoo if they attend when unwell or with flu like symptoms. Guests are NOT permitted to visit Taronga Zoo if it contravenes state or federal travel restrictions, border closures and public health orders relating to COVID-19. If you have been asked to self-isolate, please do not enter Taronga Zoo

I accept that by sending this booking request a Tax Invoice will be generated and sent to my email address.

I accept that it is my responsibility to ensure the School Accounts Payable office is aware of this invoice. Payment is required in advance to the excursion

I agree that teachers/supervising adults attending have a duty of care to supervise students at all times while on Zoo grounds.

I accept that all attending teachers/supervising adults are in possession of students medical and emergency response plans.
