Jackson Hole Science Expedition Teacher Recommendation

The Teton Science Schools’ Jackson Hole Science Expedition Program is an intensive four-week program of studies in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The course involves both academic and experiential learning that includes participating in outdoor classes, keeping a field notebook and conducting field research. Eighteen students, ages 15-18, from across the nation will be living and studying together. Students live in a rustic setting and will be hiking, canoeing, camping and backpacking in the surrounding parks and wilderness areas.

Teton Science Schools values your opinion of this student's academic potential, maturity and interest in environmental studies. This information helps us get to know students in advance of their arrival and allows us to address any concerns you or they may have about their preparedness for this program.
