Fellowship Registration 2022

Welcome to Teach For Uganda! We appreciate your interest in our fellowship.
Here's a Brief Background of the organization and the fellowship.

At Teach For Uganda (TFU), we believe that every child in Uganda, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves an opportunity of an excellent education. Our innovative approach is designed to help improve the quality of education for all children in Uganda.

We are developing a movement of leaders to transform the life and learning outcomes of under-served children inside and outside of the education sector, with a common vision of providing every child with an opportunity to attain an excellent education.

We recruit, train Uganda’s top university graduates and primary government teachers into full-time teacher-leaders in high-need Uganda Primary Education (UPE) schools across Uganda to improve the learning outcomes of underprivileged children while enhancing their leadership skills. Through this 2-year teaching fellowship program, participants (fellows) significantly improve the achievements and aspirations of their students, thereby interrupting the cycle of poverty that affects many Ugandans.
