To participate in the FirstGen Internship program, you must be up to date on COVID vaccination consistent with current CDC recommendations, subject to documented religious and/or medical exemptions, and follow any applicable COVID protocols and safety precautions at EC sponsored events, which may vary from time to time. Please note employers may have additional COVID-19 related requirements. I have read and understood the implications of this statement.

I understand that my name, contact information, and other application materials submitted may be shared with Stanford First-Generation and/or Low-Income Student Success Center (FLISSC), College Track, prospective FirstGen employers, and internally at EC during the application process. I consent to receiving ongoing communications and updates from EC and/or prospective FirstGen employers regarding the status of my summer internship application.

The FirstGen Intern experience is a full time (~40 hours/week) in person internship program for 10 weeks. There will not be 100% virtual working arrangements offered during summer 2025. Additionally, no summer school, vacations or other jobs can overlap during the intern program dates.

By checking this box you certify that you can commit to the FirstGen Internship Program and all mandatory programming hosted by the Emerson Collective team including June 13 Orientation for Bay Area interns and June 16 - August 22, 2025 activities in either Los Angeles or the Bay Area.
