Westfield Business Blueprint Program Application

You will never be named in any reports.  Your responses may be looked at individually by the funding source, or contractors hired by the funding source to collect and analyze data, your name or street address will not be reported.  Income, city, state, zip code, family size, and other demographic data will be reported.  Contractors of HUD/DHCD or any City/State agency are covered by the same Data Privacy Act requirements to protect your privacy and staff must demonstrate that they have systems in place to protect against data disclosure.

Thank you for your interest in the Business Blueprint Program sponsored by the City of Westfield, MA. Funding for this program was secured through Westfield CDBG. Congratulations on taking this step to kickstart and/or level up your business! This program is designed to help entrepreneurs build their foundation by tapping into their inner (mindset) and outer (business basics and planning) resources. Open to those living in, operating a business, or opening a business in Westfield.

The Program

The Business Blueprint Program will meet once a week starting Thursday, March 16th and will run for 8 weeks. The cohort meetings will be held on Zoom. 


Program Eligibility

Your business must be located in Westfield (home-based businesses are eligible)

You must be a low- to moderate-income entrepreneur

Your business must be less than 3 years in operation

1:1 meetings will be scheduled by the program facilitators, but it is likely that each participant will have two 1:1 meetings per week. 


Criteria for Cohort Meetings

  • Need to be present for all classes
  • Access to a computer or the ability to have Zoom
  • Have an existing business, idea, or concept that you are committed to focusing on
  • You live, work or intend to do business in Westfield
  • Open to working and participating in a cohort setting
To get the most value out of this program, we ask for a commitment to attend all meetings. We know circumstances come up and will make exceptions for illness and emergencies.  There are more applications than spots in this cohort so if you know in advance these dates are a conflict, please let us know. There is possible grant funding upon completion of the program.

We will let you know by Friday, March 3rd whether you have been accepted into the program.
